“A lawyer provides honest answers and treats their clients with respect and compassion.”
Idi Chambers, Esq. is a tenacious litigator and bilingual advocate for immigrant communities, bringing the resilience shaped by her family’s immigrant journey from the Dominican Republic to her work in immigration law. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges and sacrifices that come with starting over in a new country, she carries forward that legacy by fighting for families navigating the same difficult path. She co-founded Chambers Law Firm in Annapolis, Maryland, where she leads the immigration practice with the mission of guiding clients through asylum, family petitions, SIJS, waivers, CAT protection, and appeals with clarity, compassion, and determination.
Educated at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and the Duncan School of Law, Idi approaches every case with careful preparation, accessible guidance, and a commitment to justice. Whether advocating for a child seeking protection through Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, defending families in removal proceedings, or guiding individuals through the intricate waiver process, she provides a steady hand in times of uncertainty. Her work is defined by integrity, strong advocacy, and a deep understanding of both the law and the human stories behind it.
Idi’s service has been recognized through her pro bono efforts, earning her the distinction of Lawyer for Justice by the Tennessee Supreme Court for four consecutive years. She is respected for her thorough legal writing, persuasive advocacy, and ability to connect with clients in both English and Spanish.
Idi is not only an attorney; she is a resolute advocate for immigrants’ rights and a thoughtful legal strategist. Drawing on the strength and determination instilled by her family’s immigrant experience, she approaches each case with empathy, precision, and unwavering dedication.
